The Star Inn
About
The Star Inn is located in Harome, formerly ‘Harum’ or ‘Harem’, a small agricultural village and parish of Helmsley, on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors in an area rich with historical buildings, such as Rievaulx Abbey, and Byland Abbey. We recommend making advance bookings at all times. Whilst at quieter times, we may be able to accept walk-in bookings in The Star Inn Pub or our Gardens, our booked diners will always have priority. When booking our full Tasting Menu please ensure that you allow three to three and a half hours for your visit. Purpose-built by Robert Thompson’s Craftsmen, AKA the Mouseman of Kilburn, The Star’s 'legendary' Cheese Trolley offers a selection of over a dozen different cheeses; soft, hard, cow, sheep and goat along with some seasonal favourites, from near and far.
