We have been in the Good Beer guide for 10 years as we strongly believe that traditional pubs are a central feature to our drinking and social culture. We have six hand pumps serving a constantly changing range of cask ales from breweries all over the country. Ranging from bitters, stouts, milds, golden ales to ultra pale ale each with wonderful tastes and aromas we aim to serve an array to suit all drinking preferences. For those of you who fancy something different we have a range of bottled lager, ciders, wine and of course – fizz! Performance Spaces We have several performance spaces and an upstairs bar which is used for theatre, comedy, gigs, film screenings, poetry nights and fairs. We are also a meeting place for lots of local groups including our own knitting group – the Kings Knitters, the Salford Friendly Anglers, The Manchester and Salford Ramblers, Rapper Dancers, Open Mic Nights and an Anarchist group.
