This place is amazing. It is 20 mins from home but worth the trip. I go with friends regularly since around 2003 and never had such yummy pasta - big portions that are a challenge to finish but you want to because they are SO good! Had the 'credit crunch' menu last night - had mussels in wine and cream with warm bread, then Mediterranean stew - fillet steak, red wine, olives, mushrooms, med veggies (Cherry toms and courgettes) in a very rich gravy with creamed mash and a hunk of bread - plus a bottle of Peroni all for £9.95 - unbeatable value and merry friendly staff. Recently refurbished so lighting is softer - decor is lovely - modern with a twist and lovely lighting. Will go again even when no credit crunch menu - trying to get other half to go!
