Visited here on Saturday as part of a large group for a birthday/engagement party. I don't normally write bad reviews as its often too late, but want to let them know how appalling their restaurant experience was for myself and several other diners.
Their website mentions 'elegance' which was nowhere to be seen as we were cramped in the upstairs room with very rude waiters throwing food on the plates.
My starter of Calamari fritti was far too overcooked and I could have used one of the rings as a spare tire. The Costata di manzo came with a mouthful of sauce, no fries (although it should have) and the steak looked very similar to a minute steak that had been worn as a shoe by one of the lovely waiters.
I just think that if I am going to pay £40 for a meal, I am better off avoiding this faux Italian eatery and looking elsewhere. I have never had such an experience as this which reeked of maximising on the festive season as well as overcharging and over occupying a restaurant.
