As you might expect from such a spectacular hotel, the dining at Crewe Hall is awe-inspiring. And that's before you've even tasted a morsel. In the Ranulph restaurant, named after the man who built the Hall in 1615, you can feast your eyes on some truly extraordinary décor and furnishings; such as the hand-painted wallpaper bearing the famous Crewe Hall crest.
Then of course, there's the food. Food is something we take very, very seriously at Crewe Hall and every dish, from simple scrambled eggs to the most exquisite pan-fried fillet steak has more than a little je ne sais quoi that Sir Ranulph would be proud of.
Our menus have been devised by our top chefs and whether you eat in our 2 AA rosette winning Ranulph Restaurant or the more informal, but equally stunning Brasserie with one AA rosette (click here for more details), your taste buds will love you forever.
Crewe Hall is also home to The Sheridan Lounge which is perfect for afternoon teas. This delightful room in the old hall was once Lord Crewe's dining room, where he entertained King George V and Queen Mary during their visit in 1913, amongst other notable guests. Rich and opulent, one of the room's main features is an ornately carved oak screen, which gives the room the look of an old college hall. The lofty ceiling is magnificently decorated with striking pendants and gives an airy spacious grandeur to the room. Simply click here for more details on this stunning lounge area of the hotel.
If you think you can't take your eyes off the setting, wait until you see the Ranulph market menu, devised around classic dishes, given an extra special Crewe Hall twist.
