About Gem Restaurant
We are a small and intimate fine dining restaurant in Heswall on the Wirral. We have 24 covers downstairs and a private dining room upstairs which accomodates 14 people. The food can be described as traditional with a twist. The menu was primarily French however after taking the restaurant over recently we are moving towards a wider European menu to provide more variety and for everyone to experience the range of fantastic dishes the chef creates.

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful too, I had the Cheshire fillet and it was the best I had had in a long time, cooked exactly as I required, myself and my friends were delighted with every course.
As we were walking in a couple were leaving and she said the food is gorgeous, she wasn't wrong x

We have visited this restaurant three times now and every time we have had a fantastic time, enjoyed lovely service and the food is really special. Dominic the chef and owner has always made a special effort to chat with us and made us feel part of 'it'
