The Swan with Two Nicks is a traditional village pub nestled within Dunham Massey Country Park which is a mecca for walkers. Home to Lord Stamford's estate with beautiful gardens, house and Deer Park to explore, and the Bridgewater Canal with colourful narrow boats and lovely canal side walks.

As featured in the Good Beer Guide for the 8th year running it is no wonder that weary walkers and their dogs (allowed in the bar) have been popping in for a refreshing pint of real ale from the selection of 7 cask ales sourced from national brewers and the Local Dunham Massey brewery as well as our own Swan Ale specially brewed by Coachhouse in Warrington.

Food is served all day from 12.00pm and can be enjoyed both inside and outside on our large decked area with patio heaters for the cooler months.

In the winter months we have real log fires and candles lighting the tables for a cosy feel.

All our food is freshly prepared on the premises by our team of time served chefs, using locally sourced produce to produce the best food. We have our standard menu, which is enhanced by chef's specials and a large selection of fresh fish which is delivered fresh to us six days a week to ensure we only serve the best. Please note: our menus are all samples and do change frequently to match the seasons.

This pub is truly what an English country pub should be; there aren't many authentic pubs left. We do not have fruit machines, jukebox or televisions to spoil the art of conversation.

The pub is run by Ann Amphlett and her husband Paul alongside assistant manager Carey Peers. The chefs are executive chef Peter Worrall who has been at the pub over 15 years and head chef Ged Hampson who has been at The Swan for nearly 9 years. Having a long serving team ensures that The Swan retain their excellent reputation of good food, good drink in good surroundings.

We have a Vincent motorbike club that meet here on the 2nd Monday of each month.

We do recommend that you book for weekends as we get very busy.
