The Village Bistro, Chester - An award winning history...

An award winning history...
The Village Bistro was established around the millennium and the current proprietor, Jason Shaw, took over in February 2002, having been head chef there for the previous 12 months. Since Jason took over the Bistro has gone from strength to strength. It won its first award in 2003 when it was voted ‘Small Restaurant of the Year’. It won small restaurant of the year again in 2005 at the Chester Food and Drink Awards. In 2006 one of the chefs was voted Chester Young Chef of the Year, then in 2008 and 2009 the Village Bistro was again short listed for small restaurant of the year. Not surprising then that once people have been they keep on returning. Our aim is to provide the best value food and drink in Chester, without compromising on quality.
