Where East meets West

Hi, my name is Oui ('Oooey') and I'm delighted to welcome you to The Siam Village Thai Restaurant. I come from the beautiful city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, which offers its visitors culture, adventure, and genuine Thai hospitality.

In 2005 I graduated in hotel and hospitality management from Lampang Rajabhat University - the King of Thailand's University.

Lampang, where I opened (and still have) my first Thai restaurant and licenced bar, is about a two hour drive south of Chiang Mai, like Blackpool it is a city famed for its pony rides - though the weather is a little warmer it has to be said!

Centuries of history, laid-back charm and cooler weather make Chiang Mai an ideal tourist base for mountainous Northern Thailand - it is famous for its Maesa Elephant Park where the elephants create wonderful paintings, some of which you will see inside the Siam Village Restaurant.

I look forward to you visiting Siam Village where I promise you fine dining, first class hospitality and a very warm welcome indeed - and please feel free to contact me by email or follow me on Twitter!

With three Thai restaurants, two in Thailand itself, we know a thing or two about Thai food here at Siam Village; Stockport's Exclusive Thai Restaurant.
