Work Experience:

Life ambition to have a restaurant from a child, I had the best teachers all the family passionate over food. At Shelly’s we cook as much as possible on an Aga Cooker so the cakes and puddings and hotspots and casseroles are amazing. I've cooked with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall on TV dinners and spent time in London entering the F word with Gordon Ramsey. I took qualifications to be cookery teacher but landed a top job with Andrew Collinge’s Dad in Liverpool.


Tell us about your current menu.

Fresh is the word! Yummy Eggs Benedict or traditional full English Breakfast is perfect to start your day especially having a cappuccino or tea to go with it. After 12 noon we start lunches with tasty homemade soups and delicious Paninis and Sizzlers flying out - Shelly’s chips are amazing! Desserts; chocolate fudge with vanilla ice cream or cheesecakes not forgetting the warm scones with jam and fresh cream.


What is your favourite dish on your menu and why?

Signature Dish has to be Eggs Benedict. I was shopping with Mum in New York and had a brain storming moment; it’s been the biggest hit! Come try one for yourself!

Just love Yo Sushi I think Simon Simon Woodroffe was magic to come up with idea!
