Il Toro restaurant is part of AC Restaurants and follows in the footsteps of the highly acclaimed San Marino restaurant in Belmont and the recently acclaimed pub The Strawbury Duck.

In 2007 local entrepreneur Adam Chapman set his ambitious heart upon opening his second Mediterranean restaurant. With this in mind Adam managed to acquire The Black Bull pub which was converted into Il Toro Bar and Restauraunt. Notably the name "Il Toro" means "the bull" in Italian.

The initial refurbishment required alot of hard work and proved to be a real challenge whilst keeping other businesses afloat. However with the help of family and friends - Il Toro turned out to be a real success! The new business was received very well and is known to be the ideal sister restaurant to San Marino.
