I visited Passage to India on Saturday (15th Dec) with 3 friends and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We rung up 20 minutes before we arrived asking if they had tables available and they were still able to reserve us a table of four for when we arrived despite them being busy on a Saturday night. Once we arrived we were shown to our seats, the restaurant has a nice comfortable, modern atmosphere to it. We ordered our drinks and they promptly came to the table where we then ordered our food. We started with the traditional popadoms and dips as you usually do in any Indian restaurant, quickly followed by our starters. I had Onion Bhajis but also tried my friends Chicken Pakoras and both were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The main came shortly afterwards and I indulged in Chicken Tikka Massala, my favourite Indian dish, accompanied with Pilau rice and cheese and garlic naan bread. The entire meal was great value for money as the bill came to roughly £16 each including drinks. The service was exceptional, the staff were friendly and the food makes me want to visit again very soon! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends and urge all of you to try it as well!
