About Hand and Trumpet
The Hand and Trumpet in Wrinehill, next to Betley, underwent a full-on renovation in 2006, and (even though we say it ourselves) we're pretty chuffed with how it's turned out. It's a decent sized pub, seating about 150, with classic old floors, rugs, open fires, books and old furniture. There's a sizeable garden with a large pond, and we've built a deck out over the rear of the pub which overlooks the grounds. It's a stunner when the sun comes out.

Excellent. Lovely food, and very good service. Towards the more expensive end of pub food, but worth it as it was delicious.

Fantastic! The place is full of character, I had lamb and it was beautful, the meat just fell off the bone. Wasn't cheap but you pay for what you get I always think.
