Still retaining many of its period features over its two floors Locanta has a varied menu, starters include Italian Meatballs (£4.60) whilst vegetarians have over a dozen starters to choose from including a Baked Spinach Crepe (£4.50) and fish lovers can tuck into a Warm Mackerel Salad (£4.55). The Pasta and Risotto menu includes Gnocchi with mushrooms and artichokes (£7.85) whilst mains include Paella including a vegetarian version (£11.95) and Mediterranean Lamb Fillet (£14.95). Desserts range from a feather light Zabaglione (£4.95) to Cheescake of the Day £4.50. A good range of wines complement this wide selection of Mediterranean inspired dishes.
