In a hidden alleyway off Kensington High Street lies La Bodeguita del Medio, a Cuban restaurant inspired by the Havana original which invented the Mojito. The airy interior with its pale yellow walls and wood-panelled bar has a colonial air, with an outdoor terrace and two sedate dining rooms beyond. Cuisine is an appetising selection of Cuban and south American dishes, with tapas, grilled Argentine steak, home-made burgers and sandwiches on the menu.
