Didnt wish to travel into town so we decided to visit the san marco on thye blackrod by pass by the golf club. On arrival we were greeted warmly and the evening just got better. Friendly efficient service which made you feel you were special. Food matched the service, my wife thought it one of the best italian meals she had enjoyed whist i, tucked into an italian chicken dish. The food was hot fresh and delicious and importantly, not expensive. We were in truth sorry to leave for the staff continued to ensure all our needs were catered for without being pushy. it was a pleasure to find a gem almost by chance. Will definately be visiting again with the family. would highly recommend to friends without any concerns.

Apologies for reviewing this restaurant again but I had to comment on our visit on Christmas Day. Having never eaten out for lunch on the big day I really didn't know what to expect but wow they lived up to their usual high standards. Despite the fact that the restaurant was full the service was perfect as always - attentive yet not overbearing. And it made the festive atmosphere just right. The food was hot, fresh and delicious and despite being the weirdo in the group and opting for duck instead of the traditional turkey I'm so pleased I did. Perfectly cooked and presented beautifully we all finished the meal well and truly stuffed. And on a day when people charge anything they like very reasonably priced. We will be back next year - booking in July because when people realise that's when they will book out.

Having visited San Marco a number of times with different friends and families all I can say is that everyone has enjoyed their meals, the ambience and the warm welcome from the staff.I would definitely recommend anyone with a passion for Italian food to give San Marco a try.
