I celebrated my birthday at the Plough. I’d like to think the staff made a special effort on our behalf; however from the comments we overheard in the restaurant it seems the impressive quality was the same for everyone. We all had a great time, thanks to Dave and the staff.

It is not often that one finds the hospitality, service,and the ambienence that makes one want to re-visit a particular restaurant time and time again. However the Plough Inn breaks the mould, its staff and manageress are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like a valued custonmer. Also the food is superb - a wide choice awaits visitors to this restaurant. It's one of those pub/restaurants that naturally spring to mind when one says 'lets eat out'.

I now live in Hampshire, but whenever I return to the Northwich area to visit family I always try to visit The Plough. In my opinion this is a top 'pub', which maintains the right balance between being a pub and restaurant. The food is always excellent and fantastic value for money. The service is always pleasant and attentive served in a cordial atmosphere. I also applaud the owner for maintaining his strictly no young children policy. I suspect it may not be popular with some, but I can assure him from our perspective it is a plus. Thank you for yesterday for making the lunch for my parents, who were celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary, such an enjoyable occasion. The steak pie was fantastic!
