About The Merlin
The Merlin is a real country pub with a difference, located between Wilmslow and Alderley Edge on the Wilmslow Road nestling above the gorgeous Cheshire Plain, only 12 miles from Manchester. The pub dates back to the 1880's when it was one of the grandest private residences in what was then the new wealthy enclave created by Sir Thomas de Trafford.

It's always a pleasure to call into The Merlin for lunch whether on the way home from shopping, a ladies lunch or a special occasion. With very good food, excellent service, comfortable surroundings, what more could you ask for.

went to the reopening birthday bash last night the place is transformed the food fantastic and very well priced for todays climate go if you have never been and if its a while since you last went go back the transformation is fantastic.
