Came upon this place by accident AnD boy I'm glad I did. Great staff, great atmosphere - the quintessentialEnglish pub!

Delicious! it never fails us. Beautiful venue, lovely owners & staff - nothing is ever any trouble for them. Very generous portions, everything I've ever tried has been perfect, fresh & full of flavour. Their Christmas Turkey dinner with all the trimmings is highly recommended. Great facilities- they even have a supply of baby wipes & nappy bags in the baby changing room, added bonus as it means less things for me to carry around. The owners have thought of everything & it shows, it is always packed in here, recommend you book in advance. Enjoy!

called into pub had large brandy then chose a rather nice steak meal- very good indeed. i will be back incognito of course compliments to the staff
