My husband and I went there for a meal as we'd heard it had a new chef and menus so thought we'd give it a try. Great wine list (good start!) and the menu had a real varied choice for all courses. When the food arrived it was wonderful - the presentation, taste, combinations - the attention to detail was evident on all counts. It was delicious. The hotel staff were equally as good, very attentive (refilling your wine glass at appropriate moments, etc) but discreet so as not to appear pestering. The hotel itself is a bit old fashtioned and could do with a face lift but if you can get past the decor, you will enjoy a wonderful eating experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Would go back again.

I visited the Lymm hotel for a work conference in early September. On arrival I did not think much for the interior as it was very dated and thought my experience was going to be very old fashioned. I was in all honesty not really looking forward to my stay as i do feel first impressions are everything. As the day went on I was very surprised at the prompt and professional standard of the staff as all breaks were on time and all food was fresh. When it was time for lunch I was expecting basic sandwiches but was overwhelmed with some very tasty, individual size portions of food such as fish&chips, curry&rice ect. This was very pleasing to see also very pleasing on the taste buds. When the conference finished i checked into my room then around 7.30 went to the restaurant for my dinner. Well what can i say! I was absolutely blown away, the food I ate was outstanding and as I stay in hotels 3,4 times a week this made my stay there very special and I will without a doubt be giving your hotel just for the food alone the best recommendation and i will certainly be staying with you the next time i'm in warrington.

Had dinner here on the Saturday night to take the girlfriend out for a treat. Wasn't expecting much as had never eaten here before and had never heard much about it. What a little hidden gem it is!! At first thought it was a little expensive at about £23 for three courses but for the quality of food which arrived was unbelieveable. Ate at most good pubs and hotels in Warrington but this easily surpassed them all!!
