Fairly priced, quality food and excellent service. Will definitely be back.

Food: not at all bad for a chain pub/restaurant, and the lunchtime specials were good value. Service: willing, but rether erratic. Drinks: it's a mistake for a pub to run out of its better beers on a Saturday lunchtime, though whether or not the budget John Smiths was available was never clearly established. Ambiance: OK-ish, like many places which try to look like pubs while running as restaurants.

With the Travel Lodge just 2 minutes away on foot the Romper has been proven to be the perfect venue for all of our pre-meeting evenings. Staff from all over the country have commented on the quality of the food and hospitality of the staff. 5 stars and top of our list! MJB, Ocado Group Ltd.
