We went there on a Christmas work meal, so I wasn't expecting much, but I have to say, the food was superb, the girls shuttled around politely and industriuosly, and in the end it was the best christmas meal I've ever had. Brilliant, well done.

Tuesday night visit. Restaurant quiet but that's why we go midweek. All food excellent, difficult to make a choice ! Friendly and efficient service. One of our favourite restaurants - no need to go to Manchester. Price is right.

Went on a Wednesday with 3 friends for the Early Bird menu which has now changed to 'Why Wait Til Weekend' (same offer but no free wine) We booked for 7pm and had the place to ourselves. Why? The food and service was FANTASTIC! By 7.45 3 other tables were occupied. This offer is great - high standard of food that you expect from Browns but at an unbeatble price. Easily the nicest meal I've had in a long time. Wine not over priced either (Pinot Grigot Rose - £12.80) Think this little gem is overlooked by many because of its location on the A6 which is a real shame - give it a go!
