Fancy a slice of pizza? Then get yourself down to Nightcrawler; the late-night slice bar on Slater Street. It comes from the same team behind its next door neighbour The Merchant, who just so happen to be the same team responsible for The Shipping Forecast and much-loved house night Chikubu.

Inside it’s a colourful neon spectacle – a little like you’ve walked back into the 80s with its Saved By The Bell-esque decor with colourful tiles (think The Max Diner; sadly there's no Screech included). It's a tiny little place where you can grab a quick slice of pizza and head next door to The Merchant with a gin goblet or craft ale to wash it down with.

All pizzas are made from locally-sourced produce and you can expect taste-bud tingling stuff such as the Kale Blazer (kale, garlic mushrooms and Pecorino), Pineapple Express (pulled ham hock and roasted pineapple) or Louie Louie (buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil and sea salt) to name a select few. Add a little bit of their homemade chilli or garlic oil, too, or have a go of the hot bastard sauce if you think you can handle it.

Oh, and all slices are half price until 7pm. It doesn’t get much better than that, kids.
