10 years ago on a business trip to New York, Gary the co-owner, had a few hours to spare. He found himself in Lower Eastside, then an up and coming area of the city. He wandered into what he thought was a bar. To his surprise he found himself in a place that served great food alongside a wine merchants and delicatessen. Whilst having a glass of wine he began to wonder if he could do this in Liverpool.

Ten years on from the thought that never left him, is now a reality.

Today the concept of casual style and fine food bistro sitting along side a delicatssen & wine shop is still relatively new to the UK, is now a reality in Liverpool.

Gary and his team have tried to source as much their organic produce from the local area. Many of the products in the delicatessen are new to Liverpool and the UK.

The Chancery, Bar, Restaurant and Deli is just 1 min away from John Lewis, Liverpool One.

Our daytime bistro menu serves until 6.00 pm, with the A-la-Carte starting at 6.00pm, Our European wines offer value and quality as well as adding to the variety on offer in the cit. Our wine tasting events will bring new ideas on how to enjoy the very best in food & drink. With your help of course!
