Stopped on our way back from holiday for an early dinner. Hotel / restaurant looked OK. Unfortunately, dinner was not. Ordered two glasses of white wine which were served warm and when challenged staff explained that they were having problems keeping the wines cool and yet were able to provide a jug of iced water for the table. However, a chilled bottle was eventually located which resolved that problem. Both my wife and I ordered vegetarian dishes - a vegetable pasta dish and a mushroom risotto. The vegetable pasta dish was bland and very average. The mushroom risotto, however, was awful - bland, stodgy and with undercooked rice which my wife had a small amount of and then left. This was mentioned to the staff who commented that they thought that this was what risotto was supposed to be like and when it was pointed out that this was not the case responded by saying that that they weren't an Italian restaurant anyway.
