She serves up a feast of musical hits from her Memphis idol. "I love Elvis and I want to sing like him to make my guests happy and show love to them," she said from her restaurant in Burton road. "If they ask me, or if there is a party, I come out and I sing my favourites for them. Then they can sing for me."
"I dress as Shirley Bassey, not Elvis because I tried being Elvis once and I think a Thai woman looks funny. It is the song that are important, the emotion, that I want to recreate." Wendy's favourite number is Are you lonesome tonight which, she says, reminds her of how her heart was once broken. it's loud, it's karaoke, it's great fun and it's thoroughly recommended by critics and regulars.

Crazy Wendy's Thai Restaurant and Bar in West Didsbury offers a unique dining experience. On Fridays and Saturdays your hostess, Crazy Wendy entertains her guests with her unique renditions of classic songs from Shirley Bassey and Elvis amongst others.
When not on stage Wendy is crazy about serving authentic Thai dishes originating from North Eastern Thailand.
