About The Vine
Located on the outskirts of the seaside town of Newcastle, The Vine occupies a traditional dining room within the secluded modern Burrendale Hotel. The comfortably decorated interior offers a relaxed, welcoming backdrop to the restaurant's punchy menu of international cooking. Dishes include seared fillet of Irish beef on a burnt onion and bacon mash, or baked scallops of monkfish on winter vegetables, with a special set menu for lunch on Sundays.
